Sushi For Everyone!

There was an article published in today's Leeds and Manchester Jewish Telegraph and I hope that it will encourage the readers to discover that sushi really is for everyone. I am now teaching at The Vegetarian Society's 'Cordon Vert' Cookery School (http://www.cordonvert.co.uk/cv08/course.aspx?page=18&course=91) and these courses will be perfect for anyone wanting to learn about sushi but preferring to stay clear of seafood and meat. The first course will take place on Sunday, August 21st and there are some places remaining at this moment. Additional courses will follow later this year and next year.
I also hope to be able to work with caterers of all kinds and especially kosher caterers to be able to provide top quality sushi and sushi bars at functions in Leeds and Manchester. Whether for weddings, bar mitzvahs, anniversary or special birthday parties, sushi really can be for everyone and I look forward to being able to provide full details on request...

Vegetarian Society Details

Details are now on the Vegetarian Society's website for the courses I will be running later this year. These courses will show everything that is needed to make great sushi based on creative vegetarian items including Japanese sweet omlette (tamago) great cheese ideas, tofu and roasted vegetables etc. Please check out their site for full details and the first course will be on August 21st.

Good Day!

Its been a good day today as I have had confirmation of an event for JCT600, the official opening of their new Mini showroom in Bradford on May 26th. Also finalised an agreement with Hotel du Vin for a sushi and sake evening on July1st and will be working with Sainsburys on a charity event for SASH in York on June 23rd, running a Yorkshire-themed sushi bar....
I hope that there will be many more good days and still lots to do to get Yorkshire folk to be ready to try sushi. Tomorrow evening I will be at The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate at their wedding fair so if anyone fancies coming along to see me, please do.

Sushi Dinner May 6th at Swinton Park

There are a few last places for our Sushi Dinner event at Swinton Park in Masham on May 6th. This is a great evening where guests can learn about sushi, watch a demonstration and then have a go themselves. We use many different types of ingredients, not just raw fish and we also offer samples of sake as well as miso soup, Japanese salads and fresh fruit to conclude the meal.
